Nominations are being accepted for the following elected positions on the Administrative Council for our chapter. Information about nominees will be available on this site after nominations are closed in mid-May.

• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Secretary

Please note that nominees for the above four positions must be regular STCEO members. (Student members may not hold elected positions.)

We are also seeking volunteers for the following non-elected positions:

• Program Manager
• Membership Manager/Volunteer Manager (usually done by the same person but can be split into separate positions)
• Competition Manager
• Newsletter Co-editor

And remember that we're always looking for volunteers to help out any of the existing managers on the newsletter, Web site, and competition.

The future of the chapter depends on volunteers stepping forward to fill the various elected and non-elected positions on the chapter executive.

Most of last year's executive will not be putting themselves forward for any elected positions this year so it is imperative that new volunteers come forward for ALL positions. Don't presume that someone else will do it -- if you value the chapter and you're interested in helping, step forward. If we don't get enough volunteers for the elected positions, there's a good chance that the chapter will have to go into provisional status for the first time in its history. And if we don't get volunteers for the program manager and competition manager positions, we may have to scale back on offerings this year.
