which the ITE will deal with editing.

Competition
It looks like there may be a large influx of entries this year for both the online and print competitions. Altogether, 28 people responded that they would submit at least one entry. Wow. If you get contacted to be a judge please consider helping out because we're going to need lots of them this year.

Membership Directory
Everyone seems content. A few people were unaware that we update every summer but all of you should have received this year's directory by now. One person was concerned that the "bios" made the directory look like an advertising vehicle, but that is precisely the intent. As this directory is also supplied to potential employers and head-hunters, a good bio may get you a good job interview. The bios are also there to tell your colleagues about yourself. I know the new Members Corner of the newsletter is the most popular section.

One final note on the directory: I want to apologize for any omissions or mistakes. We are a volunteer organization and it is very difficult to spend the amount of the time we would like to ensure that the information has been received and is accurate. For example, since its publication I found out that I never received a member's updated form. As such, the information remains outdated and that member

is not very happy with me. Next year we will try and put in more safeguards but please be patient with us.

Newsletter
Stimulus received very high ratings with averages ranging from 2.14 for size and 2.24 for quality. Although there is still a large request for hard copies to be mailed (59%), I have since had 40 members respond that they will download it off our web site instead. This is appreciated, as it keeps our print and postage costs down. If you are one of these 40 members, PLEASE remember to keep your email addresses current.

General Comments
There was lots of support for the executive and the work they did last year, especially the newsletter. One person indicated that they loved the job bank while another indicated that they "Loved this survey method." (Note: It was available off the web and could be emailed directly to me, with no postage costs.) Another respondent thanked us "for asking for feedback."

Again, I'd like to thank you for providing us with that feedback. The programs we provide and the supplementary material we develop is intended for you, the members. So please, keep us informed.
