  • Mark Boyle, Customer Documentation Manager at TimeStep Corporation, will discuss why he chose ForeHelp, rather than RoboHelp or Doc-to-Help, as the Help authoring tool for his team.
  • Ralph Calistro, Team Leader, Global Publishing Technology at Nortel Networks will discuss the use of controlled English in developing online Help.
  • George DaNova, Documentation Specialist at Cognos Inc., recently started using Quadralay's WebWorks Publisher to convert FrameMaker documents to online Help. George will share his experiences with this product.
  • WandaJane Phillips, Computer Documentation Specialist at Write Livelihood, will discuss single sourcing and moving from WinHelp to JavaHelp.
  • Nick Simons, Project Manager in Web content development at Bell Canada, will discuss automating the process of moving online Help into printed books.

    Where and when

    This meeting will be held Thursday, January 28, 1999 at our usual location in the RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Those of you who were at our very well-attended October and November meetings will be pleased to learn that we are moving to a larger room: Courtside B. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
