We are pleased to announce the creation of an email-based discussion group for STCEO. This hosted service is provide free-of-charge by STC Office.

We hope this will provide an additional channel for networking and information exchange, especially for those members who live in the larger Eastern Ontario area who do not have easy access to meetings in Ottawa.

Membership in the group is open to all members of STCEO and any other interested parties involved in technical communication, including the students in the Technical Writing program at Algonquin College.

The group will be monitored, but not moderated. Standard Netiquette rules apply.

JOINING

You can join by email or through the web interface.

To join the STCEO mailing list by email, send a blank message to

stc-eo-join@lists.stc.org

To join using the web interface, go to

The advantage of the web interface is that it allows you to customize your preferences, including how often you want to receive mail.

Regardless of how you join, you will be asked to confirm your subscription by email.

Once you've confirmed, you'll start to receive messages.

To send mail to the STCEO mailing list, address it to

To reply, use reply, not reply all.

GETTING HELP

You send commands to the list processor by sending email to
