They have also been recognized with several prestigious awards. THE OPPORTUNITY This 12- to 14-month contract is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, senior-level technical writer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our client's knowledge center. You will scope technical writing projects, manage deliverables, and set priorities for a talented team of writers. You will work with the management team to set strategies and goals and with developers to realize the achievement of those goals. You will have an opportunity to manage schedules and deadlines while producing technical documentation for both hardware and software in a vibrant, dynamic environment. THE REQUIREMENTS As our ideal candidate, you have a degree in technical communications and several years of experience scoping and developing effective and consistent technical documentation. In addition, you have proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills. You also have strong experience with FrameMaker, the Adobe suite of products and with Help systems tools. Experience in technical writing for network solutions is a definite asset. You will provide a portfolio of your work as a part of the selection process. Detailed Description The Senior Principal Consultant/Instructor is expected to quickly master new technology, offerings, and internal processes as well as assisting others in their preparation. Manage aspects of the customer event or project (i.e. instruction, application implementation, environment, setup, assessments, communication, curriculum development, tutor etc.) to ensure success. Design and develop new offerings, approaches, and solutions which meet customer business needs and create innovative tools, processes, and templates to produce quality deliverables. Advise and support junior team members in their professional development. Ability to teach new technical material, deliver new service offerings, and/or implement new Oracle Applications modules with minimal preparation time. Meet utilization targets.
