Stimulus has won several STC awards over the years:
1975: With Sam Estwick at the helm as editor, Stimulus won the top award in the 50-100 member category.
1982: With Henry Knoll as editor, Stimulus won an Award of Excellence. In Henry's own words, "The Award of Excellence is only secondary to the pleasure of dispensing innuendo (that's Italian for enema), reverend speculations, and professional thought generally. Compared to the expensive look of many other newsletters which competed, STIMULUS must have made it by its laid-back opinion-mongering. Thanks to me (for some reason I have never been accused of false modesty), the ingenious contributors, and the help in production." [Stimulus, March 1982]
1985: With Sharon Rudnitski as editor, Stimulus won an Award of Distinction in the 51-100 member category.
1998: With Tim Scapillato as editor, we won a Merit award in the 151-300 member category.
2007: This year, with Kitty MacAlpine as editor, we've won a Merit award again.
